Searching for plus size vintage style clothing can feel like a real challenge. I often come across stunning outfits on social media, but when it comes to finding similar items in my size, it’s a whole different story. It seems like many vintage shops focus mainly on straight sizes, which leaves us plus size folks with very few options, if any. Have any of you managed to discover great vintage pieces that actually fit and look authentic?

I’ve tried a handful of online stores, but the sizing is often inconsistent. Plus, some of the pieces just don’t capture that genuine vintage vibe I’m after. I’ve had some luck with a few Etsy shops that cater to plus sizes, but it can be hit or miss. Check out “PlusVintage” on there—some of their stuff feels really authentic. It’s also worth hitting up local thrift stores; I’ve found some gems that have been tailored to fit better.
