Creating a Business Casual Capsule Wardrobe for Work

I’m especially drawn to earth tones and versatile items that can be easily mixed and matched. How do you select your colors and fabrics to stay comfortable while still meeting workplace expectations?

I’d love to hear your experiences and any styling tips you might have!

I totally get the struggle! I found that a good blazer can really elevate a simple top and jeans. I totally get the struggle with Chicago’s weather! A good quality lightweight blazer can really help take any outfit up a notch, and you can easily layer it over a simple tee or blouse. For color, I find earth tones like olive or rust pair well with almost anything, plus they don’t show stains as easily. Mixing in a few patterned scarves can also add some personality without overdoing it.
