Best Vintage Thrift Stores in Los Angeles for Unique Finds

Finding great vintage clothing in Los Angeles can be a bit of a treasure hunt, especially with so many thrift stores to choose from. I’m on the lookout for shops where I can score unique, standout pieces—especially those bright, colorful styles that align with my clean-girl aesthetic.

If you have any favorite vintage thrift stores in the area, I’d love to hear your recommendations! I’m particularly interested in places that offer a solid selection of items in good condition. How do you usually discover hidden gems for vintage finds? Any tips for hunting down those perfect pieces?

Check out Wasteland on Melrose; they always have some killer colorful stuff. Also, try the Goodwill on La Brea—I’ve found some amazing statement pieces there before. Just go in with an open mind and be ready to dig!

You should check out the Melrose Trading Post! It’s basically a weekend flea market with a ton of vintage vendors. I found this amazing colorful jacket there last month. Also, don’t overlook the Salvation Army on Sunset; they sometimes have hidden gems if you dig a little. Happy hunting!
