Best Places to Find Vintage Clothing in Los Angeles?

As someone living in Los Angeles, I’m always looking for unique vintage clothing to spice up my wardrobe. I love how vintage pieces can really elevate a basic outfit, but finding great items without breaking the bank can be tricky. I’m curious to know where the best spots are for affordable vintage finds that still offer quality.

For those of you who have navigated the vintage scene in LA, what are your favorite shops or hidden gems? I’ve heard of some popular spots, but I’m eager for recommendations that balance selection and price. Have any of you had luck at local flea markets or online vintage shops?

Also, I’d love to hear your tips for styling vintage pieces in a more minimalist way. What do you think works best?

I’ve had some luck at the Melrose Trading Post on Sundays; they’ve got a bunch of vintage vendors, and you can usually haggle a bit. Also, check out Wasteland if you haven’t already—kind of a mix of high and low prices, but you can score some killer stuff there. For styling, I find pairing a vintage jacket with simple jeans and a plain tee keeps it pretty minimalist but still interesting!

You definitely can’t go wrong with Melrose Trading Post on a Sunday—so many cool finds! I also love Hit or Miss Vintage in Silverlake; their prices are pretty decent. For online, Grailed can have some killer vintage stuff if you keep checking. As for styling, I usually just pair one vintage piece with neutral basics and simple accessories to keep it balanced.
