Whenever I try to refresh my wardrobe, I always get hung up on selecting the perfect color palette. Living in San Diego, I want something that feels both fresh and chic, yet still practical. I’m thinking about incorporating some neutral tones with a few accent colors, but I’m a bit concerned that might come off as too plain. How do you all tackle this?

Are there certain colors you find work well across various seasons? I love the idea of creating a cohesive look that allows for easy mixing and matching, but sometimes it feels daunting to narrow down my options. What strategies do you use when picking your colors? Do you prefer classic shades, or do you opt for bolder choices?

I feel you! I mostly stick to neutrals too, but adding in a couple of standout colors can really help. Like, mustard yellow or teal can pop against gray or beige and totally elevate your look. Plus, they’re still pretty versatile for different seasons!
