Tips for Building Your Fragrance Wardrobe

Creating a fragrance wardrobe can be just as challenging as selecting the perfect outfit for any occasion. With so many choices available, where do you even begin? Should you focus on a signature scent or opt for a range that suits different moods and events?

It seems everyone has their own method. Some people love to layer different scents, while others stick to a few key fragrances that they can wear for almost any occasion. What do you think are essential fragrances for someone trying to find the right balance between everyday use and special moments?

I’m curious to know how others have built their collections. Are there specific brands or types of fragrances you would recommend for those still exploring their personal scent preferences?

I just started building my collection last year and I find it helps to have a solid fresh scent for daily wear—something like a citrus option works great. For special occasions, I really like deeper scents, like vanilla or oud, but I’m still figuring out what I prefer. It’s fun to experiment with samples before committing to a full bottle!

I started with a couple of fresh scents for everyday wear, like citrusy or floral ones that aren’t too overwhelming. Then I added a nice woodsy fragrance for evenings out. I think it’s all about finding what vibes with you and not overthinking it! As for brands, I really like Jo Malone and Diptyque for their variety.
