Filming Locations of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I’m really intrigued by the filming locations of iconic movies, and I’ve been wondering where they shot The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The stunning landscapes really brought Narnia to life, and I can’t help but think about how they created such an immersive experience. Did they use a blend of real locations and CGI?

If I remember correctly, many scenes were filmed in New Zealand. The beautiful forests and breathtaking mountains really captured the spirit of Narnia. For those who have visited the filming sites, what was your experience like? Did it feel like stepping right into the movie? I’d also love to hear how these locations may have influenced your personal style. What do you think made these settings so unforgettable?

Yeah, New Zealand really did a fantastic job capturing that Narnia vibe! I went to one of the spots in the Southern Alps, and it felt super magical being surrounded by those epic landscapes. It definitely made me appreciate nature more and even inspired some of my style choices, like earthy colors and cozy layers. Did you have a favorite scene from the movie that you wish you could see in person?

I think a lot of the magic came from the practical locations in New Zealand. I’ve seen some photos from the sets, and it looks super close to what we saw on screen. But they definitely mixed in CGI for some of the big scenes—like the Wintery areas. It’s cool how those places still feel kinda nostalgic, even if you’ve never been there!
